Lavender
Called the "Queen of Fragrance",
lavender is one of the most popular scents throughout the entire world.
Lavender, for me, is one of the most magical scents of all. It smells of a warm summer day. It smells clean and relaxing. It reminds me of times gone by and is an instant stress reliever. Putting lavender sachets in my pillow, I sometimes manage to keep a life-long insomnia problem at bay.
I've grown lavender almost all my life, and each summer I harvest the blossoms and make sachets for my linen and for my pillows. Then I make lavender bunches to hang in my home. The remaining lavender is used for cooking and bath and spa products. This page will give you most of the ways I use lavender in my home.
